LINCOLNSHIRE, For general information on WW2 aviation places of interest in Lincolnshire www.lincolnshiretourism.prestel.co.uk They produce a free, very helpful brochure on Lincolnshire’s Aviation heritage.

Newark Air Museum is not far away in Nottinghamshire and well worth a visit. Apart from the aircraft to be viewed they have an enormous shop full of aviation books, models, etc. www.newarkairmuseum.co.uk
