January 1941. Hawker Hurricanes of 238 Squadron based at Middle Wallop, begin a patrol just after dawn.
Salisbury Cathedral just happens to be in their sector of responsibility and gives the pilots the opportunity to view this beautiful building up close.
During the summer of 1940 and the Battle of Britain, great air battles were fought in the skies above southern England where the Royal Air Force defeated a numerically superior force.

The Greeting cards are all one size 8″x4″
Here at SWA Fine Art we have produced a range of greeting cards and Christmas cards.
